# Welcome to Bow

> Bow is an envelope budgeting app for iPhone. Learn how it works, set up your first budget, connect your bank or import from YNAB, and find answers.

## What is Bow?

Bow is an envelope budgeting app for iPhone, including iPhone Duo. You split the money you have into envelopes, like Rent, Groceries and Vacation, before you spend it. Each purchase comes out of its envelope, so you always know what's left for each purpose.

You only budget money you already have. There's no Bow account and no Bow server: your budget lives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud.

## Get started

**1. Download Bow**

Get Bow from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/app/id6755204642) and tap **Get Started**. Want to look around first? Tap **Try a Demo**.

**2. Add your accounts**

Add the accounts you spend from, with today's balances.

**3. Choose your envelopes**

Pick what you spend on and save for, and add your own.

**4. Assign your money**

Move your money into envelopes until Ready to Assign reaches zero.
