# Log purchases from bank notifications

> Send purchase, deposit and refund alerts from your bank or card app to Bow with a Shortcuts automation, then review them in Shared to Bow.

When your bank or card app sends a notification about a purchase, deposit or refund, a Shortcuts automation can send it to Bow in the background. It waits in Spending under **Shared to Bow** until you review it. With Apple Intelligence, Bow fills in the details for you; without it, you fill them in.

**1. Go to Settings › Bank Notifications**

**2. Tap Add Automation to Shortcuts**

**3. Pick your bank apps**

In Shortcuts, tap **App** in the automation and pick each bank or card app you use.

Security codes, sign-in alerts, statements, offers and declined purchases are skipped. Items you don't review within 90 days are removed.
